When you think of the French Revolution, one of the first ideas that comes to mind is the guillotine. But make no mistake, this revolution begins with the cigar knife. LES FINES LAMES started as a passion in 2015, in Marseille in the beautiful South of France. Fueled by founder Pierre Jourdan’s love for cigars and his family's heritage in French cutlery, the idea to reinvent the cigar knife emerged. With two trusted friends by his side, "the three musketeers" of the cigar world launched the first iconic model: L’ORIGINAL, a cigar knife crafted and proposed as unique, artisanal pieces. This product already embodied the brand's DNA of craftsmanship, simplicity, and elegance. The now-famous LES FINES LAMES logo was born from this inaugural launch.

Launching LE PETIT Cigar Knife

The arrival of business partner Pablo Rodet marked a pivotal moment for the brand. The French duo shared a vision: to craft a high-quality, 100% French-made cigar cutter at an accessible price. The answer? LE PETIT, a compact and stylish version of the original cigar knife, perfected for everyday use and at a starting price of $150.

With the overwhelming support of the community and the most successful cigar-related crowdfunding campaign of its time and a huge traction on social media, LE PETIT became a global sensation. LES FINES LAMES even made history by sending three exclusive LE PETIT models into space, a first in the cigar world!

Revolutionizing cigar accessories with a French and innovative touch is carved in our DNA and that of our community. After supporting us from the beginning, the community rallied again for the launch of the PUNCH BRACELET in 2021, a stylish and functional accessory.
